We need to engage in a manner that seeks resolution, not endless confrontation. . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCompanies are pulling back on investments in British Columbia because of arguments based on emotion, rather than facts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vancourier.com\/standout\/what-do-lng-oil-and-horse-racing-have-in-common-1.2272349\"><em>Part Three<\/em><\/a><em>. What do LNG, oil, and horse racing have in common?<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Barinder Rasode, Director of Social Responsibility for the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/resourcework2.devstudio.work\/\">Resource Works Society<\/a>, is encouraging Vancouverites to come out to the&nbsp;<strong>Race for Resources<\/strong>&nbsp;fundraising event to help fund research and create fact-based information on the contribution of responsible resource development and extraction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s going to be a really fun event,\u201d Barinder says. \u201cThanks to the generosity of the Hastings Park race track, we\u2019ll have a VIP compound where you can rub shoulders with resource industry leaders, public policy decision makers, and other concerned citizens and enjoy a wonderful summer afternoon while supporting a good cause.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting at 12:30pm and running until 5pm, the event promises to be an afternoon of fun and camaraderie at Hastings Park Race Track in support of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/resourcework2.devstudio.work\/\">Resource Works Society<\/a>.
