On Tuesday, December 17, Resource Works co-partnered with the venerable Empire Club of Canada to host a meeting of minds in Toronto, bringing together Alberta Premier Danielle Smith and Andrew Furey, the Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the Empire Club\u2019s Fall Energy Series, the event attracted 400 business leaders for an in-depth discussion on Canada\u2019s role as a resource-rich powerhouse in the global economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Empire Club event marked Resource Works\u2019 latest foray as one of Western Canada\u2019s most vocal and visible advocates for natural resources. Last April, in collaboration with the Canadian Global Affairs Institute, Resource Works hosted an address by Polish President Andrzej Duda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
President Duda underscored the need for global energy security and called for greater cooperation on energy and critical infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
