Resource Works President and CEO Stewart Muir will be in Toronto on June 18 to participate in Panel 1 of the Critical Minerals Forum, titled \u201cA Wealth of Resources: Canada\u2019s Abundant Supply Positions It as the Provider of Choice for International Investors.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The panel will explore Canada\u2019s rich deposits of critical minerals, including lithium, nickel, cobalt, graphite, and rare earth elements, emphasizing the nation\u2019s potential to meet escalating global demand for these essential resources. Discussions will also cover how Canada\u2019s resource availability and accessibility make it an attractive destination for foreign investment in the clean economy sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Critical Minerals Forum Toronto 2025<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Muir\u2019s presence at the forum underscores Resource Works\u2019 commitment to advocating for responsible resource development that balances economic growth with environmental stewardship and Indigenous partnerships. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to his role at Resource Works, Muir is a co-founder and board member of Tersa Earth Innovations, a Burnaby-based biotech startup developing innovative solutions for the clean production of critical minerals.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His participation is expected to highlight the importance of integrating community engagement and sustainable practices in advancing Canada\u2019s critical minerals strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
