FREE WALLPAPERS: Resources & Global Transformation

The 5th anniversary of Resource Works is coming up, and we've collaborated with resource champion Tony Morley to provide this gallery of stunning computer wallpaper images for you to download and appreciate.

They feature the words of today’s deepest thinkers on serving the material needs of humanity. Tony explains here why he selected them:

“Civilization has advanced dramatically since the Industrial Revolution, transforming life across the globe, lifting billions out of extreme poverty and fostering unparalleled human flourishing. Driving that unprecedented progress and growth is abundant and inexpensive energy and resources. How we harness and utilize these resources will define the future of our species.”

The images here link to 1920×1080 downloads suited for wallpaper use on most computer monitors. Each consists of a quotation from a published work, the author’s name, and the name of the work, all of it overlaid onto a thematic copyright-cleared image.

Says Tony (pictured): “My work has always sought to cast light on the fantastic progress of humans, and in doing so, to encourage others to use their unique knowledge and abilities to improve the progress of civilization.”

Featured quotations are from authors including Steven Pinker, Ruth Defries, Hans Rosling, and Brad Harris.

Tony is a Canadian, who is raising his family in Canberra, Australia. An energy specialist and dedicated progress and growth proponent who works in renewable energy technology, Tony has been a source of ideas and inspiration over the course of our journey as an organization.
